Why
The Power of Her Story
In November of 2020, I had the opportunity to stand on a stage and tell my story for the BOLD Speaker Series.
Not the social media story, or the story in my bio, MY STORY. The story before those stories. The story of the traumas, and miracles, that make me who I am.

It was to be a 20-minute speech: the longest and most personal I had ever written.
I sat down one day, about a week before the deadline, and it just poured out of me: about two hours in, I got up and went outside for a walk, then came back in and finished. I spent a total of about six hours writing... a small investment for something that was truly such a gift. The catharsis I felt in writing that story was like nothing I had felt before. The first time I read it out loud, I sobbed unexpectedly... a by-product of traumas pushed away for too long.
But, then, something shifted. Each time I read it aloud began to feel like a gift, and I realized all that I gained from this experience. I also knew I wanted more women to feel what I was feeling: a feeling of renewal.
I felt lighter. I felt powerful. I felt free.

Not everyone will have the opportunity to stand on a stage and tell their story, nor would many want to. But, what if there was a "stage" where you could remain anonymous?
Here it is. We want to hear your story.
